Board Member Rita Dionisio-McHugh

Rita Dionisio-McHugh holds a PhD in architecture and urbanism from the University of Tokyo, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Geography at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand, where she has recently been appointed as Lecturer of Human Geography. Rita’s research focuses on cities, urban environments and communities, and participatory planning. She has also been developing research on spatial planning tools to support participatory planning in Aotearoa cities.
