Charismatic Canadian urban experimentalist – Charles Montgomery – came to Christchurch 21 April 2015 to talk about the striking relationship between our minds and the design of our cities in front of a capacity crowd.

Charles writes, experiments, and creates conversations about cities, sustainability and human wellbeing. He is an award-winning author. He helps planners, city builders and regular people find new ways to see and change the world around them. He and his team also create participatory programmes where people use their own cities as laboratories.
