Te Pūtahi Volunteer Intern Emma Turnbull

Emma is currently a Geography student at the University of Canterbury. Having grown up in Christchurch, she is fascinated by the unique position that Christchurch is in. Emma is volunteering her time with Te Pūtahi to become actively involved in the re-shaping and development of a city that she knows and loves.

With a passion for urban development and sustainability, Emma is incredibly excited to be working alongside driven and innovative people to help create spaces and events for communities to enjoy. She has a particular desire to encourage her peers and fellow students to get involved in the regeneration of Christchurch.

Whether it be helping comms or being an extra pair of hands at events, Emma is excited about how she can contribute to Te Pūtahi’s work.
