What if you could get everything you need for daily living within a 15-minute walk or bike ride from home? How would that change your life? And, by reducing short car trips, could it save the planet?

This event explores the idea of Christchurch as a city of 15-minute neighbourhoods.

Join us for ‘15-minute neighbourhoods’ to hear from experts, individuals and community groups who are already making the change and reducing their emissions in the process.

This is a free community event, but bookings are required for the presentations.

This event is part of five Christchurch Conversations exploring how the city can achieve its climate goals. Join our mailing list to keep in touch.

The series is made possible by the support and enthusiasm of its family of sponsors and supporters, especially Christchurch Conversations Partner Christchurch City Council, Series Research Partner Building Better Homes Towns and Cities: National Science Challenge, and Series Sponsor It’s Time Canterbury.
